Ø Strengths :
· Animation is increasingly becoming pivotal subject and its
interdisciplinary relevance is increasing
· Outstanding educational resources- Hundreds of Films, documentaries and
e-books
· Experience and exercise based teaching-learning
Ø Weaknesses:
· Its syllabus does not contain outreach exercises officially
· There is still less awareness of the subject among students (especially
from rural tribal background)
Ø Opportunities:
-
It has potential to be an Animation Centre in nearest future
-
Collabration with media and entertainment Industries
Ø Challenges :
· Despite efforts of the Board of Studies, Particles and outreach
activities are not included in to the core curriculum of BSc Animation.
Ø Future Plan :
· To establish advance Animation Center
· Develop linkages with various industries / animation studios for
placement
