Student Engagement: Active Zoodesk and Zoocarnival student clubs and societies focused on zoology and wildlife conservation.

The department has sophisticated instruments viz. Leica Microtome, inverted microscope, Sonicator, Cooling centrifuge (5000 to 30000 rpm), PCR instrument, Automatic tissue processor, Microphotography unit and laminar airflowetc.

Zoology is becoming the pivotal subject and its interdisciplinary relevance is increasing.
