 Computer and Internet Facilities

 Internet facility and computers are made available in the recreational halls in all

hostels

 Mess Facility

 The Mess Facility is available in Girls and Boys Hostel.

 Medical Facilities

 First-aid

 A Health Centre in the premises is available. This facility is provided by the college

and separate medical staff is appointed

 Free health check-up facility and medical treatment are given to hostellers.

 An ambulance is also available for medical emergencies through the Medical College

of Parent Institute

 Library in Hostels

 Recreational reading corners are set up in both the hostels where newspapers, general

periodicals along with books are available

 02 reading rooms at Girls’ Hostel and 01 reading room at Boys’ Hostel are made

available with adequate furniture

 Safe Drinking Water

 Municipal water connection lines are supplied to the hostels. Separate water purifiers

have been installed at each floor in girls’ and boys’ hostels for pure drinking water.

 Apart from Municipal water connection we use water from our well on the campus,

which is available throughout the year because of the unique rain-water management

system that we have devised

 Power Backup

 Generators and Invertors have been installed in Hostels for the power back-up.

 Solar Panels are installed in Girls Hostels.

 Security: For security of the hostels, separate security staff has been appointed round the

clock. Ten bouncers are appointed for the safety and security purpose. 11 CCTV cameras

have been installed for the surveillance.

 Recreational Facility: Since the Boys’ and Girls’ Hostels are on the campus, the hostellers

have been utilizing all the following recreational facilities for sports, games and indoor games

available on the campus

 The resident centre with accommodation is available

 A well-furnished gymnasium is available for the students and the faculty

 Separate hall is available for Yoga and Meditation in girls’ hostel

 Recreation common room with audio-visual equipment is made available for

watching TV, listening to music, watching documentaries and movies. The LCD and

speaker's aid in presentation and other allied recreational activities. A television set is

available in both the boys’ and girls’ hostel

 Management of waste-food and garbage is also done in girl’s hostel. It is processed in

grinders and used as manures

 Separate electricity generators are provided at girls’ hostel

 14 Solar heaters are installed in the hostels with 350 liters capacities.

 Annual cultural event is organized in boys’ and girls’ hostels

 Sanitary napkin vending machines and burning incinerators are installed at girls’

hostel

 For maintenance of hygiene and sanitation separate staff is appointed in the hostels
