Poster Presentation Awareness of Voter and voting system (EVS) – Voting pattern

In  Democracy it is not simply enough to inform voters about election dates. In order to help the electorates take an informed decision , it is quintessential to sensitive them bout the importance of participating in the electoral process. Voters need to be educated about the process and made aware of political issues, parties, their manifestos, and armed with several other information. This need was fulfilled by department of political science of K.T.H.M. College, Nashik. Role of the media also explained here by department.

a) To create awareness about voting system.

b) To help them to gain knowledge about electoral colleges

c) To create good and well educated voters which helps to create good Government

a) It was one days activity.

b) Journalists also some specialist were there.

c) The activity was organized at college level.

     Many students participated in this activity. This helps to create awareness about voting system in young India. This activity creates a stage for new voters to express their thoughts and Ideas

Elocution Competition for the Blind-Student ( Sub: Indian constitution) Maratha vidya prasarak Samaj’ the premier institution is becoming the instrument of social changes. Taking one more step towards social changes an education competition was held for the blind students. Subject had a great concern with political awareness, it was ‘Indian constitutions’. During the literary meet on 1st of January 2016, it was resolved that the MVP will voluteer to organize such competitions every year as for as possible to inculcate among the student. The love regarding Indian political culture. This was a special gesture to commemorate the uniquely amazing event of the institute

a) To create a awareness about effective and precise use of language.

b) To help them develop necessary elocution skills

c) To Help them to gain more and more knowledge regarding Indian Constitution.

d) To incrase the intrest in Indian Politics.

a) The competition was organized at college level.

b) The event was held on the occasion of New Year, to create social reform.

d) Accomodation was provided to the outstation students and team managers as well.

e) This year it was decided to give the scope for Marathi and thus it was held in Marathi language
Many students actively participated in the competition. This helped them in elaborating  their own knowledge. The aim of the competition is also to create listeners who can judge between the good and the bad and at least few were inspired towards developing their own communication skills

A visit to Gramsabha (Girnare) K.T.H.M. College, which has been working as a social performance for so many years, it also act as medieter between the surrounding and students. Taking one more initiative regarding in this field too, a departmental visit was arranged for a small visit at Gramsabha on 2nd of October 2014 This visit meant a lot for students as well as village first and formost helped to refresh every ones mind a part forms every days busy schedule. Students attending the sabha got a knowledge full staff there and were practice at local level students were deeply initiated by this visit.

a) To make students aware about the political practice held at local level was the main of the visit.

b) To get practical knowledge about the Panchayat raj.

c) To develop communicative skills among the students.

d) To create an opportunity for all students to interact with the government servants, critically and objectively

The main motto of the visit was achieved. Greater participation was observed good intraction was done by the students with government servants as well as with the villagers

Activities organized by Azad Group for orphan kids

K.T.H.M. college has always been a ideal for its social activities as well as for its social awareness. It also tends to help the needs in some or the other way. This fact was observed when Azad Group of political department helped the orphan kids by gifting them books , pens and useful stationary. Members of Azad Group were to Jai Anand Orphan House. Rushikesh Kalewar, Rameshwar Murtadak. Amol Padekar and team enjoyed the whole with the kids helped them to attach their sentiments with them to attach their sentiments with them.

a) To spread happiness among the orphans .

b) To suppose them and try to give direction regarding their educational work.

c) to provide them with the satitionary products so that the kids at least create interest in studies.

d) To help to take the guidance and support them at some extend

A visit to Nashik Muncipal Corporation Political science department of K.T.H.M. college arranged a visit to Nashik Muncipal corporation. This visit was one of the important visit amongst are that were arranged throughout the year. Large number of students participation was observed during this visit . students got practical  knowledge about many things such as, who to make policies, how to apply them , what are the rules which are played by the members in Muncipal corporation, etc.

a) To understand the role of members played.

b)    To Understand the who the policies are frame.

c)  To understand the frame work done in the meeting

Idea and title of Innovative practice

1) Awareness of “Human Right” Programme

  • Human right is most important to every person because Human right is not only a fundamental rights but also natural right. United nation excepted importance of  Human rights. So UNO declared world Human right Day, on 10 Dec. 1948. Every government give protection to human rights. Indian Government also established Human rights council in 1993.
  • Objectives:
  • a) students  should know about human  rights.
  • b) To give primary information to students and every person.
  • c) to create awareness about every people.
  • d) to create a good human being
  • e) student must be know about their natural freedom, similey, justice, Thinking, education and every one able to respect from you./ you must give respect to every one.
  • Positive impact:
  •      Many students actively participated in this activity. This helps to create awareness about Human rights. This actively creates a stage for new younger to express their thoughts and ideas. To give knowledge about social awareness and our natural rights.
  • 2) Rajmata Jijabai Jayanti Programme.

             Political Science department of  K.T.H.M college celebrated rajmata Jijau jayanti and Swami vivekanand Jayanti on 12th January,2016. Rajmata Jijau and Swami Vivekanand are one of the inspiring and Ideal person. Their thought always inspired us. In    Programme  some Student’s speeches about Jijaumata life and some speeches about Swami Vivekanand.       

  • Objectives:
  • a) Student know about struggle of Rajmata Jijau and Swami vivekand.
  • b) To contribution of the person for the society.
  • c) To  get knowledge  about their social activity.
  • d) to gain confidence of students and inspired them to being a responsible citizen.
  • Positive impact:
  •       Many student attended this programme. The  programme conduct to good impact on Students. Students present their views on Rajmata Jijau and Swami vivekand.
